WHAT HAPPENES DURING A MICROBLADING HAIR LINE TATTOO?

Following your detailed and swift consultation and desired expectations being noted. Photos are taken of your hair line. Your skin is numbed with topical anaesthetic cream. The new hairline is carefully measured and marked out. Once you are happy with everything, together, we select your ink shade that best suits your existing hair colour. Once you are happy with your chosen ink colour, we then proceed to performing the procedure. You will be provided with aftercare advise about how to look after your hairline as you heal at home over 7 days.

Uncontrolled high blood pressure or low blood pressure

Using steroids such as; Cortisone, Retin-A or Renova (or have done in the six months previous)

Taking medication such as Coumadin or Heparin (Get written permission from your doctor if you are using these)

Chemotherapy (Wait at least six months since your last treatment)

Experience allergic reactions with known or unknown causes regularly

Have skin conditions such as rash, blisters, scabbing, scarring, psoriasis or eczema, dermatitis

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF MICROBLADING HAIRLINE TATTOO?

Risks are minimal. Slight redness, irritation or swelling may be experienced that will subside in 4- 7 days.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR MICROBLADING HAIRLINE TATTOO?

Healing period is 7 days. Keep area dry for two days. Wash on day 3 and moisturise with plain Vaseline when feeling dry or itchy (itching is a good sign of healing). Stop using your regular shampoo, conditioner and hair products. Use gentle cleansing products such as Simple or Aveeno brand shampoo. Avoid sweating, steam room, sauna, swimming and sunbeds until healed. Avoid touching the scalp unnecessarily. Avoid hot baths and showers. Avoid picking, scratching, rubbing, injuring, sleeping on the area and change your pillow case daily. Avoid direct sun exposure. Wear a clean scarf or hat.

DO I NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK AFTER HAVING MICROBLADING HAIRLINE TATTOO?

In short, no. There is no need to take time off work
