SCHON APPOINTMENT & BOOKING POLICY

At SCHON Aesthetics & Laser, we intentionally limit the number of appointments we accept each day so that sufficient practitioner time is reserved for every client and appointments are not rushed.

By booking an appointment with SCHON, you agree to the following Appointment & Booking Policy.

Booking & £40 Booking Fee

A £40 booking fee is required to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your treatment cost.

Your appointment is confirmed once the £40 booking fee has been successfully paid.

The booking fee reserves your selected appointment time and practitioner availability. It is not an additional treatment charge when you attend and proceed with your treatment purchase.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

48 hours or more notice:
Your existing £40 booking fee can be transferred to a new appointment, provided you rebook within 14 days of your cancellation.

Less than 48 hours’ notice:
Your £40 booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. A new £40 booking fee will be required to secure another appointment.

No-show:
If you do not attend your appointment without providing the required notice, your £40 booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, and a new booking fee will be required to make another appointment.

Our 48-hour policy helps protect practitioner time specifically reserved for you and gives us a reasonable opportunity to offer cancelled appointment times to another client.

SCHON’s Right to Refuse or Cancel Treatment

SCHON reserves the right to decline, postpone, discontinue or cancel an appointment or treatment where we reasonably consider this necessary or appropriate.

This may include, but is not limited to, circumstances relating to treatment suitability, client or practitioner safety, inappropriate or abusive behaviour, failure to follow clinic policies, breakdown of the practitioner-client relationship, non-payment, suspected fraud, or circumstances where the practitioner considers it inappropriate to proceed.

Clinical treatment is always subject to consultation, assessment and practitioner judgement. Booking an appointment does not guarantee that treatment will be provided.

Where SCHON cancels an appointment and the client is not responsible for the cancellation, any applicable booking fee will be transferred or refunded as appropriate.

Nothing within this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

Arrival & Late Attendance

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow sufficient time for parking, check-in and, where required, preparation such as numbing cream.

Arriving early does not mean you will be seen before your scheduled appointment time.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, we may be unable to see you where there is insufficient time to complete your appointment appropriately without rushing your treatment or disrupting subsequent appointments.

Where we cannot proceed because of late arrival, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment under our cancellation policy.

Appointment Times

We make every reasonable effort to keep appointments running to schedule.

Occasionally, appointment times or the time allocated to your appointment may need to be adjusted to ensure sufficient practitioner time is available and treatments are not rushed.

Where SCHON needs to make a significant change to your appointment, we will contact you where reasonably possible.

Children, Pets & Guests

Please attend appointments without children or pets wherever possible, except recognised assistance animals.

Children and other dependants accompanying you remain your responsibility and must be appropriately supervised.

For safety, privacy and to allow your practitioner to concentrate fully on your appointment, SCHON reserves the right not to proceed where accompanying children, pets or guests could make treatment unsafe, inappropriate or disruptive.

Building & Personal Belongings

SCHON operates within a building containing communal areas that are not under our exclusive control.

Please take reasonable care while visiting and keep personal belongings with you.

Nothing within this policy excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Patch Tests & Reactions

Where required, a patch test may be carried out before treatment to help assess how your skin responds and to identify potential adverse or sensitivity reactions before proceeding with treatment.

A patch test reduces risk but cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur, either following the patch test itself or during or after subsequent treatment.

Temporary redness, irritation, sensitivity or other reactions may occur following a patch test. In some cases, an allergic or adverse reaction may also occur.

By agreeing to a patch test, you acknowledge that reactions are a recognised potential risk and that the occurrence of a reaction does not, by itself, mean that SCHON or your practitioner has acted negligently.

You must follow all patch-test instructions provided and inform SCHON promptly if you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction.

Where a reaction occurs, SCHON may postpone, modify or decline subsequent treatment where considered appropriate for your safety.

SCHON does not accept liability for reactions arising from recognised and appropriately disclosed risks of a patch test where the test has been performed with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from negligence.

Treatment Programmes Purchased Using Finance

Where a treatment or programme is purchased using a third-party finance or payment provider, the finance agreement is also subject to that provider’s separate terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, cancellation rights and refund procedures.

Third-party finance arrangements may involve costs, commitments or charges between SCHON and the finance provider. However, nothing within this policy removes any cancellation, refund or other statutory rights available to you under applicable UK consumer or financial-services law.

Where a cancellation or refund is legally available, any refund or adjustment relating to a financed purchase will be processed in accordance with applicable law and, where relevant, the procedures of the finance provider.

Clients should therefore review the finance provider’s terms carefully before entering into a finance agreement.

Payments & Chargebacks

If you believe a payment has been taken incorrectly, please contact SCHON directly so that we have an opportunity to investigate the matter.

Where a chargeback or payment dispute is raised, SCHON reserves the right to provide relevant booking, payment, correspondence, consent and treatment records to the payment or finance provider when responding to the dispute.

Where SCHON reasonably suspects deliberate payment or chargeback fraud, the matter may be reported to the relevant payment provider and appropriate authorities.

Agreement

By completing your booking and paying the £40 booking fee, you confirm that you have read and agree to this SCHON Appointment & Booking Policy.

Nothing within this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
