Anesthesia and Injection​
A numbing cream will be applied to eliminate any discomfort during your lip augmentation. Then either the Juvederm, Restylane,Teoxane or Revolax product will be strategically injected inside the treatment area to shape the lips.Â

Immediately after your treatment, you may have a small amount of bleeding and swelling. This is normal after skin tissue augmentations. In the hours that follow, some clients will start to see bruising appearing around the needle sites. These will subside within 7 days and your new final, natural, beautiful lip shape will reveal when the dermal filler has settled in the lips.
Following this short 7 day recovery phase, your dermal filler will last anywhere between 6 months and 2 years depending on the products you selected, your metabolism, and how regularly you’ve received dermal filler treatments prior. Although there is zero downtime and you may resume your usual daily routine following dermal lip filler treatment in general the treatment healing time is 7 days. Some swelling can be expected immediately after the medical treatment. An ice pack (wrapped in a paper towel to prevent it sticking to the filled lips) can help with this, and the initial swelling will go down quite quickly. There may be minor soreness from the injections as the numbness from the topical cream wears off. You can manage this with paracetamol painkillers. We advise against ibuprofen, aspirin, blood thinner medications, Fish oil, Vitamin A & E and steroids 7 days before treatment and 7 days following treatment.
Avoid intense exercise for 2 days after your treatment. Reduced activity allows the body to heal the treated areas quicker. Avoid swimming, sauna, steam rooms and sunbeds for 7 days. Bruising is rare but can occur and will subside within 5 days
Avoid consuming alcohol for 7 days. Avoid excessive consumption of caffeine drinks and drink hot drinks through a straw.
Drinking plenty of water also helps to keep hydrated and applying a thin layer of Vaseline to keep the lips moist.
Avoid applying makeup to the lips for 48 hours.
