What is Lumi Eyes & what does it do? 

Lumi Eyes is a high-quality injection product based on polynucleotides (obtained from purified salmon sperm DNA) that repair damage to the dermis with tissue regenerating material. 

Dermaren Lumi Eyes is a tissue stimulator designed for needle mesotherapy treatments around the eyes and the tear valley with a filling effect. The effect of the treatment is strong hydration and rejuvenation of the tissue, as well as the reduction of symptoms of fatigue and skin blueing.

How many treatments are recommended?

Dermaren Lumi Eyes allows you to achieve a perfect effect after just one treatment. For better results, it is recommended to perform a series of 3 treatments with an interval of 4 weeks and repeat the treatment twice a year. The skin will gain energy and freshness, while reducing bruising and fatigue.

What happens during Lumi eyes treatment?

When Lumi Eyes is administered there will be a slight pain during injection, minor bleeding, bruising in the treatment area may occur, swelling and redness. After injections, your skin will likely have raised red swollen bumps that look like little ant bites, this is normal and usually settles within 24/48 hours. 

What are the risks of Lumi eyes injections? 

There is a small risk of bruising or swelling to the treated areas which can develop in the hours/days afterwards, and it is therefore advisable that the treatment is performed at least 2 weeks before any event. This can be discussed further to help you plan when to have your treatment

Am i suitable for Lumi eyes treatment?

Lumi eyes contra indications:

Unfortunately some treatments are not suitable for everyone.  
Some include: Undergoing chemotherapy, skin cancer pregnant/nursing, HIV/AIDS,  rosacea, Solar Keratosis, Acne Vulgaris Stage III-IV, Anticoagulants / Blood thinners (including but limited to Warfarin or aspirin), diabetic, autoimmune disease,  taking roaccutane, prone to keloid scarring, active cold sore or acne, sensitivity to HA, allergies to needles, any infection, areas where long lasting filler has been used.

What is the aftercare for Lumi eyes? 

After your Lumi eyes treatment you can resume your normal activities immediately. You should avoid wearing makeup under the eyes for 24 hours and keep the area clean and dry. Avoid sweating, sauna, swimming, drinking alcohol, drinking excessive amounts of coffee, taking medications 7 days before the treatment and 7 days after the treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure or other facial treatments for two weeks.
