Long gone is the old cliché of emerging from a surgical clinic with bandages, bruising, and a tell-tale nose splint. Sometimes referred to as the ‘liquid nose job’, this painless and quick filler treatment is an art we’ve mastered to such perfection, that our reviews can vouch for. The intervention is virtually undetectable from the second you leave our practice.

NON SURGICAL RHINOPLASTYIN BIRMINGHAM

A non-surgical nose job involves the placement of dermal filler under the skin that imitates cartilage. With dermal fillers, we can only add shape. We can’t take away size. Many people wanting to reduce the size with a non-surgical nose job for wide nose wonder at first how this can be achieved with a dermal filler product. But by using strategically-placed additional volume, we transform and work advanced surgical magic on the appearance of your nose’s proportions.

Why do we pay so much notice to our noses? It’s actually quite simple. Our nose has the single most important impact on our facial profile when it comes to the balance of our features. If it is large or asymmetrical, it can offset the ratios of overall conventional beauty in the face. Both men and women can feel self-conscious when they get caught ‘side on’ in a photograph and a non-surgical rhinoplasty can offer the desired aesthetic goal to re-shaping the nose you are seeking.

What happens during a non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure?

Compared to invasive surgical treatments, liquid nose treatment really is a walk in the park. During the medical procedure, hyaluronic acid-based fillers are injected under the skin to artfully shape, fill, and balance. There’s nothing more to it than that. During the procedure you’ll receive injections at specific points on the nose which will take approximately 30 minutes in total to administer.

Tip refinement

Injecting filler into the end of the nose to create a fashionable ‘tip lift’ or correct a bulbous tip. Tips are only made worse when smiling or talking. Lifting the tip is possible with a high cross linked dermal filler. For those who are looking for a long-term solution but are worried about the pain of surgery, dermal fillers are a comfortable non-surgical alternative.

Bump or dorsal hump

Injecting dermal filler into the bridge and in front of the dorsal hump of the nose to create a smooth even slope from the forehead to the tip. The ‘bump’ or ‘crooked’ nose is the most common concern in this area of aesthetics. It is also the simplest to treat. We can camouflage and straighten in most cases, providing incredible aesthetic results.

Asymmetrical or crooked nose

Dermal filler is injected to add volume on one side of the nose to balance out the profile to straighten it. If you’re looking for an easy fix to straighten your nose, you’ve come to the right place. Our experienced specialists will custom tailor a treatment plan based on your needs and wants so you can enjoy a painless, safe, and zero down time treatment.

Hooked nose

Similarly to the dorsal hump, using filler at the bridge and adding it as a support below to create a straighter edge.

Wide nose

Injecting filler in a vertical line down the centre of the nose in order to lift and slim its appearance. Dermal filler is an innovative nasal slimming treatment that can make a world of difference in the appearance of your nose. After just one or two treatments, you can look great again-and results show in as little as an hour!

Flat low bridge

Filler is placed between the brows increasing the height and contouring of the bridge of the nose. A low height nasal bridge can affect a person’s front profile and make the eyes seem smaller and this can affect your confidence.

The results we expect for you

The results show immediately. Other than some minor swelling and injection point marks that will subside within a couple of days, you’ll be able to see the transformation right after your treatment with us. You may experience a slight lump around the surgical injection sites. This too will rapidly diminish following treatment.

Why choose non-surgical rhinoplasty

There are many benefits of Nose Reshaping. We can raise the nasal tip to correct a droopy nose, without affecting the upper lip. Side profiles can be straightened. All without the need for general anaesthetic and cosmetic surgery! It is also a much more affordable option.

In your consultation, we will discuss how we can craft the perfect treatment plan for you that is best suited to your aesthetic goal and expectations.

The consultation

You will have the opportunity to discuss your cosmetic concerns, and ask any important questions you have regarding your non-surgical nose job. Non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose job) FAQ

What are nose fillers?

These are dermal fillers that we use in cosmetic procedures for the nose. Products used for a non-surgical nose job need to be strong, durable and look natural when injected in the nose. They are also suitable for other facial features such as the cheeks, temples or chin.

We use FDA-approved products that contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring building block of the human body. We source our products from regulated pharmacies based in the UK; these include popular brands such as Juvéderm, Restylane and Teoxane.

Why is the end of my nose hard following non-surgical rhinoplasty?

After the procedure, you may experience some inflammation that makes the tip of your nose feel hard. Once the swelling starts to subside, the fillers will start to bond with your natural tissues. The hardness will dissipate and your nose will start to feel like your own.

How long do nose fillers last?

How long any type of filler product lasts in your body will depend on your individual metabolism. Those with fast metabolisms may find their body processes the filler out of their systems more quickly. However, you can expect to get at least 6 months out of a non surgical nose job, anywhere up to 1 year.

Building further on the nose filler helps the filler to build up in your system, so you may find the more dermal filler treatments you have, the longer they will last each time.

What is the aftercare for nose dermal fillers?

There are no real restrictions following non-surgical rhinoplasty – you’ll be able to resume your normal routine immediately after the medical treatment. But we advise that you do not expose the area to intense heat for 72 hours after medical treatment (i.e. direct sunlight, sunbeds or saunas). There are also some general guidelines that will help to prevent infection following the non surgical nose job procedure.

Try to avoid touching or manipulating the area for the rest of the day, and it’s best to avoid applying makeup, in order to let the area breathe and heal.

Is non-surgical rhinoplasty safe?

Nose job treatments are very safe. Aside from some swelling and redness , patients should not experience many side effects from treatment. There is a chance you may see some mild bruising, but this is quite uncommon. Our practitioners are highly trained in managing complications and administering hyaluronidase in the rare case a complication may arise.

Does the procedure hurt?

The procedure is painless and can be performed under cream anaesthetic. As the filler is added to the skin via a needle, you should expect to feel some sensations of pushing. Most fillers feature a dose of lidocaine, a local anaesthetic that can ease any pain further during administration of the product.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure takes anywhere between 20-30 minutes and will depend on the technique of your practitioner and your individual treatment plan.
