What is SPMU Glow Up Foundation?
SPMU Glow Up Foundation is a cosmetic tattoo enhancement procedure that combines semi permanent makeup pigments with selected powerful serums with microneedling. The micro needles penetrate the upper epidermis layer of the skin infusing the selected pigments and serums adding rejuvenating nutrients and most importantly building on the foundation pigments to ultimately correct and enhance the skin tone. The skin subsequently becomes stimulated thereby naturally producing an increased amount of collagen, elastin and your own hyaluronic acid resulting in visibly noticeable skin brightening and improvement.

SPMU Glow Up Foundation is a non surgical, non invasive multiple problem solving cosmetic enhancement process that is painless with little to no down time. Suitable for all skin types and genders ages 22 and over. The procedure takes 1.5 hour, including skin preparation time. Expect to see visible improvement from the second treatment but in order to achieve optimal results we recommend the 4 treatment package for long lasting effective results to benefit from your skin ageing slowing down long term. You can visit the therapist for maintenance once every year following the recommended initial 4 sessions has been completed.
What is SPMU Lip Tint?
SPMU Lip Tint involves implanting a blush tone pigment inside the epidermis layer of the lips to effectively bring life to dull lips. SPMU Lip Tint will have your lips appearing youthful with a naturally blushed.
What is SPMU Cheek Blush?
SPMU Cheek Blush involves implanting a blush tone pigment inside the epidermis layer of the skin from the apex point of the cheek across the zygomatic arch of the cheek bone to effectively provide a natural healthy blush throughout the cheeks bringing youth to the face all round

Before booking a semi permanent makeup treatment, please carefully read through the contraindications below. Some pre-existing health conditions can impact the results from SPMU treatments or carry some risks. Pregnant or Breastfeeding
Diabetes
Epilepsy
Auto-immune disease
Currently taking blood-thinning medication
Blood disorders such as haemophilia, sickle cell anaemia, and platelet disorder
Keloids or hypertrophic scarring
Hormonal breakouts
Blood disease or infections
Uncontrolled high blood pressure or low blood pressure
Using Cortisone, Steroids, Retin-A, Renova, or Accutane (or have done in the six months previous)
Taking medication such as Coumadin or Heparin (please get written permission from your doctor if you are using these)
Chemotherapy (please wait at least six months since your last treatment)
SPMU Eyeliner
Please note we cannot perform SPMU eyeliner treatments if you have a stye, red-eye, or pre-existing eye condition.
SPMU Lips
Please note we cannot perform SPMU lip treatments if you currently have herpes or a cold sore. You must take an anti-viral prescription before and after your SPMU treatment if you have a history of cold sores. Please seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.

SPMU Glow Up Foundation is non invasive. Minor vibration and a buzzing sound can be heard with most patients describing the treatment as relaxing and painless
What are the risks involved?
For 48 hours following treatment minor redness, swelling, irritation, tingling can be felt that will subside
What aftercare is involved do i need to take time off work?
You can resume your usual daily tasks and the skin will heal in 48 hours internally and 5 days externally. We recommend you avoid strenuous exercise that will cause sweating, chlorinated water and direct sun exposure for 5 days. We advise applying spf50 sun protection every day following the healing period
Can i just have one treatment?
We can offer single treatments although for optimum results we recommend a course of 4 treatments for best results
