FIBROBLAST PLASMA SKIN LIFT

How Fibroblast Plasma Skin Lift Works.

A state of matter in the form of ionized gas, is heated and applied in small bursts above the surface of your skin using the hand held pen devise.

This results in a pattern of micro-injuries that target the fibroblast cells in your skin. These cells produce collagen and elastin fibers—two elements that are essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin. 

Your body registers the treatment as an injury, which kicks your fibroblast cells into action, leading to a substantial increase in collagen production. As these micro-injuries heal, they tighten and lift skin, while the added dose of collagen improves skin volume and texture. 

The tissues retract and tighten lifting hooded eyelids, tightening baggy under-eyes, minimising wrinkles and can even be used to do a lip lift and flip or sculpt, lift and slim the nose. There is no cutting to remove the excess skin resulting in minimal downtime – expect a minimum 3 days of swelling and 5 days of visible brown dots. This treatment is a fantastic alternative to surgery and avoiding those associated risks and results can be seen before you have even left treatment room!

The number of treatments varies between 1-2 sessions depending on the severity of the skin laxity.

Because the fibroblast plasma skin lift is actually reducing the volume of the skin, the effects should last as long as they would with invasive surgery. The positive effects will be noticeable immediately after the treatment, but the final results will be seen after 8 weeks.

The consultation

You will receive a thorough consultation and a medical check will be carried out to ensure you are fit and well to be treated. We may treat you on the day or book you in for a future appointment.

The Treatment

Photos of the area(s) will be taken. The area(s) will be numbed to ensure you remain comfortable during the procedure and the treatment will be carried out. You will be given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have following treatment and aftercare will be verbally explained to you. Healing gel and a copy of aftercare will be provided to you to take home.

The Aftercare

The main things to avoid post treatment are the sun, sweat and allowing the area to get wet. Sunscreen should not be used until all the “dots” fall off. Therefore it is highly recommend making like Dracula and avoiding the sun at all costs. If you must go out, wear a big hat, big sunglasses and or use an umbrella. Once all the “dots” fall off, It is recommend to use SPF 50 on the treated area(s) for no less than 8 weeks. This will ensure proper healing and maximum skin tightening benefits.

Post treatment care will include the use of our skin sensitive healing gel, keeping the area cool and dry, gentle cleansing, patting dry, no rubbing, scrubbing, wiping, exfoliating or picking off the small carbon crusts and ceasing use of your usual home care products for 7 to 10 days until the area is fully healed. Do not put makeup on the carbon crust “dots” at any time. Not only could this inhibit the healing process, the application of the makeup and/or removal of the makeup could potentially prematurely dislodge the “dots.”

Avoid drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, coffee and tea as this will dry out the area and cause irritation.

The Down Time

Due to a chance of swelling it is a good idea to take home rest for 2 -3 days following treatment in the eye area(s)

You may experience some swelling, redness, brown spotting, slight irritation, tightness, tingling.
